Eagleville Hospital hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the Shapiro Peer Education Center, a new dedicated space located within the Shapiro Family Wellness Wing of the Center for Therapy and Wellness.

The Shapiro Peer Education Center is designed to support patient recovery through peer-led education and support programs that enhance well-being during inpatient treatment and extend into post-discharge recovery.

Through the Shapiro family’s generous gifts and continued partnership, the hospital is now able to reimagine this vital resource for patients and their long-term recovery. Cutting the ribbon was Jon A. Shapiro, MD joined by his wife, Babbette, and their family.
