Hospital Week 2025 at Eagleville Hospital was a powerful reminder of what makes this hospital truly unique: the dedicated people behind the care — our staff — who show up every day with compassion, strength, and an unwavering commitment to those we serve.
With the theme “Healthy. Happy. Here.” guiding the week, we came together to recognize the everyday moments and extraordinary efforts that keep Eagleville moving forward. From shared meals to friendly competition, thoughtful talks to well-deserved treats, the week was filled with connection and celebration.
Monday: Gratitude and Great Capes
We launched the week by celebrating our real-life heroes. Staff added notes to the Gratitude Wall and captured superhero moments at the Hero Booth. Custom Eagleville power banks were handed out as a small thank-you to those who keep the mission powered around the clock.
Tuesday: Team Spirit Took the Field
Jerseys, team pride, and a sense of fun took over the day. From Dawn Ramsey’s uplifting Positive Thought Talk to sports trivia and classic snacks in PC2, Tuesday reminded us that even during busy weeks, a little fun goes a long way.
Wednesday: Wellness Wins the Day
Wellness Wednesday gave us all a chance to breathe and recharge. Lauren Dvorak led two informative sessions on simple, sustainable nutrition tips, and staff across the hospital participated in the 24-hour Step Challenge.
Shoutout to the 7am Admissions Team, who logged a record-setting 32,810 steps to take the win!
Thursday: Throwback Thursday
Retro outfits made a comeback, candy favorites lined the tables, and the Baby Picture Matching Game brought laughter and plenty of head-scratching guesses. With a tie in top scores, the Beats headphones winner was chosen by random drawing — just one more fun surprise in a day full of throwback joy.
Friday: Feel-Good Finale
Friday delivered it all — pouring rain, late-day sunshine, and plenty of unforgettable moments. Zac’s Burgers rolled in as the skies opened up, but that didn’t stop anyone from lining up for a taste of something special — rain and all. By the time the soft pretzels landed at the gazebo, the sun broke through like it knew we weren’t done celebrating.
Inside CTW, the good times rolled on. Staff and patients dove into classic games, and the gym came alive with a wiffle ball showdown — set to a custom Eagleville playlist packed with upbeat, feel-good tracks.
Mister Softee arrived right on cue for a sweet end to the day, and raffles kept the excitement going across every shift.
To top it all off, every staff member received a brand-new Eagleville t-shirt — a small but meaningful thank-you for the heart you bring to your work, rain or shine.
